Collin Glasscock is currently a master’s student in the UNT behavior analysis department.
He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology at Texas Christian University. Collin
has held intern and temporary keeper positions at several AZA zoological facilities,
working with lemurs, orangutans, giraffes, rhinos, and other exotic species. He is
currently working on his thesis that focuses on how access to a semi-natural environment
affects behavioral dynamics of red-ruffed lemurs living in a typical zoo enclosure.
After earning his master's, he hopes to work with zoos to improve animal behavioral
welfare with an emphasis on environmental design and enrichment. Perhaps a Ph.D?
