Are you interested in being part of ORCA?

ORCA is a student organization that conducts training and research projects with captive and domestic animals. We are a student organization, so any UNT student is always welcome to come to our meetings. Most members are graduate students from the behavior analysis department, but we have some undergraduate members as well. Members are expected to attend weekly meetings and to also participate in other ORCA activities, research projects, and events.

ORCA is unique because it doubles as a lab for the Department of Behavior Analysis. At weekly lab meetings, students share updates and progress on current research projects. We also watch and discuss animal training videos and read and discuss recent research related to animal training.

This semester, ORCA will meet from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Wednesdays.
